Festival international de Louisiane

After surviving two more snow storms this weekend, I'm really starting to look forward to the warm weather of summer. And this year, to kickoff our summer shows, I will have the honour of performing at the Festival international de Louisiane, in Lafayette. This is actually the first international festival where I performed, at the age of 12. I have such beautiful memories of it! It's been a few years since my last stop in the bayous, and I simply can't wait to find my wonderful Cajun friends! And while I'm there, why not enjoy a nice bowl of gumbo?!

Happy Holidays

What can I say, 2013 was a busy year for me! Not only did I welcome to the world my second son, Isaac, in January, I also travelled to many different places, fiddle in hand and musicians in tow, to give shows in Acadie, USA and France. With the holidays just around the corner, I find myself particularly happy. In my neck of the woods, which is, might I add, covered in beautiful snowy blanket, I am surrounded with family and friends to celebrate my favourite time of the year. Already, I can see the immense pleasure I will have reliving the magic of the holidays through the eyes of my two beautiful sons, Emerik and Isaac.
I cannot tell you how very grateful I am to all of you who support me and make even my craziest dreams come true. Without your support, I would not be the artist I am today. I thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for all your messages, for attending my shows and for buying my albums. I wish you all very happy holidays and a happy new year that will bring you peace, happiness, health and love. Hope to see you in 2014!

Prix Éloi-LeBlanc

Sunday June 9, I had a truly memorable day. Surrounded by my husband, my children, my family and my friends, I had the honor of receiving the first Prix Éloi-LeBlanc. I am so touched to have been the first artist chosen to receive this award, which serves to recognize the work of an artist from Memramcook who has distinguished himself or herself in the cultural industry. Many artists and musicians have preceded me and have paved the way for me realize many accomplishments. I am very grateful to receive this award that recognizes my accomplishments and my journey. This adventure has just begun and is far from over! From the bottom of my heart, I thank all the people who have supported me throughout the years, and who continue to do so. I love you all!
I would like to acknowledge the financial support of the Province of New Brunswick.

January is just about done and it seems this year is going to be another spectacular one! Not only have I given birth to my second son, Isaac, two weeks ago, I've also received great news! After being named "Female Recording Artist of the Year" and winning "Instrumental Recording of the Year" during the Music New Brunswick Awards, my latest album is nominated an East Coast Music Award, in the "Traditional Instrumental Recording of the Year" category! It is truly an honour for me to be part of this extraordinary group of artists and musicians! So excited!

Also, I will be updating shortly my upcoming concert dates! Stay tuned!

Congrats to all the nominees! I encourage you to vote, at The voting period closes on October 11 2012.
Summer 2012
Hi everyone!

I'm thrilled to be writing to you just before heading out on a great tour that will be bringing me to Brittany (France) next week, for the Festival interceltique de Lorient. I can hardly believe that it has been 10 years since the first time I was there, at the age of 15. It was an unbelievable experience that changed everything for me. I've been to the festival seven times since then - and this year will be number eight! I just can't wait!

And to top that off, I'm bringing along a brand-new album! I'm so happy to present my fourth album, this summer. My musicians and I have worked extremely hard to create this wonderful project, and I'm so proud of it! I hope you'll be able to hear all the love we poured in it through the tunes.

Great news! You can get your very own copy right here! All you have to do is click on this link:

Have a great summer! I look forward to seeing you during one of my shows! I'll keep you posted of everything that's going on! :)

Hi all!

I wanted to give you an update of everything that's going on in my life at the moment. I'm extremely happy to announce that I'm getting ready to record my fourth full-lenght album in March. It has been almost four years since the release of Bourrasque and I've experienced so many beautiful moments since. In short, this album enables me to go back to my roots. It gives new life to beautiful traditional tunes and presents new compositions that have a similar flare. The album will be released later on this spring. I can hardly wait to share a few tracks with you!

Furthermore, I will be announcing soon my upcoming shows for this year. All I can say is that I'm really excited! Smile

Stay tuned for more news to come soon!

Happy Acadian Day

August 15 2011

Hi everyone!

First of all, I'd like to wish to all of you who keep a place in your heart for Acadie a very happy Acadian Day!

To celebrate this important day, I performed during the flag-raising ceremony in Moncton, as well as in my hometown, Memramcook. We couldn't have asked for more: the clouds that hovered over the region held almost all rain drops, and the crowd really had fun!

I must add that this year was especially special because my barely five-month-old son, Emerik, took part in the festivities. He attended both concerts and seemed to be having a blast, wiggling to the sound of the music. Who knows, he just might follow in his mother and father's footsteps...

Now, I need to concentrate on my upcoming projects for the next year, including a brand-new show... Smile

All my love,

My new website is finally up and running, and I'm absolutely thrilled about it! Please take a moment to read my journal entries, read my biography, watch my viedos and check out my concert dates. You'll find lots to do!

I hope you enjoy it, and please don't forget to sign my guestbook before leaving!

Can't wait to see you at one of my upcoming shows!
